Traxsource Help Center
What labels will I see on a track?
Starting July 1, every track can carry one of four labels: Human-Made, AI-Assisted, Inconclusive, or Not Scanned. The label is shown per track, so you always see the call for the exact release you are looking at.
What does Human-Made mean?
The track has been reviewed through our verification process and classified as human made. It tells you at a glance that the music is the work of real people.
What does AI-Assisted mean for a track I buy?
It means our verification process flagged the use of AI-assisted creation tools in the track. AI-assisted music is welcome on Traxsource and sells right alongside everything else. The label is there to inform you, not to warn you off. Many buyers have no issue with AI tools in the mix, and the choice is yours.
What does Inconclusive mean?
The track was scanned, but the result was not clear enough to call it Human-Made or AI-Assisted. No conclusion has been made. It is not a mark against the music.
What does Not Scanned mean?
The track has not been processed through our classification system, usually because of its release date. Like Inconclusive, it is a status, not a judgment.
Is AI-Assisted music allowed on Traxsource?
Yes. AI-assisted music with real human creative input is allowed and sold right alongside everything else. The one firm line is fully AI-generated music with no human input beyond a prompt. That is not chart-eligible and may be removed.
